I'll meet you for the first time again
Three oceans collide like old friends
Elephant memories in your skin
Sell a bottle of beer and keep it within
Now I'm off to see if you were the last hope for me
You were lost in Kanyakumari
while i was stuck in New York City
Oh, you can write me from a roof of a hospital
Indian sun's beating down on ya
Winter takes the life out of me
while you were lost in Kanyakumari
Thought I'd write home for the last time again
Five o'clock shadow and a new girlfriend
What about you, what are you up to now?
The roots of my skin, they're still there and loud
I could have done better with you
I could have done better, oh I could have done better with you
Now I'm off to see if you were the last hope for me
You were lost in Kanyakumari
while i was stuck in New York City
Oh, you can write me from a roof of a hospital
Indian sun's beating down on ya
Winter takes the life out of me
while you were lost in Kanyakumari
Stumbled across this great band because of Martha the band and I just love their sometimes melancholy garage-sound.
Also I like the acoustic songs.
I still remember seeing them live in my hometown when they were touring with Erica Freas and asked them for a setlist to have something to remember the great concert.
It´s hanging on my wall since that day :) Ninehundredninetynine
St. Louis DIY stalwarts Shady Bug's latest EP is languid, low-key indie rock that combines warm dream pop tones with alt-rock crunch. Bandcamp New & Notable May 11, 2023
Max Goldstein makes "acoustic" music that is a unique mix of guitar, experimental electronics, and percussion. Make indie rock weird again. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 25, 2021
Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
